For some people, Tullamore is just a place you pass through on the train from Dublin, but people from there know it's a pretty unique spot.
Here are 13 things you'll only recognise if you're from or grew up in the most central town in Ireland.
1. When summers in Ireland were actually hot you’d head straight to the outdoor pool in Clonminch, 50p entrance fee in hand, siblings on the back of the bike.
If you were one of the lucky ones you would be taught how to swim by Jack Egan. Pretty sure half the kids in Tullamore know how to swim because of him.
2. The only place to buy anything in the 90s was Texas Department Store and if you were wild enough you'd venture to Dangerous Prices for a pair of denim boots or a shirt before the Rugby Club disco.
3. Waiting all week for The Harriers Nightclub on a Saturday night. Bus loads from all over the country came to The Harriers for a good time...and sure we were proud as punch to call it our own.
4. Eventually realising the Harriers was for amateurs and The Bridge House Nightclub was the place to be at.
5. Being told all about your parents' wild days at Spiders Nightclub and wishing it was still open so you could see what it was like.
6. Supermacs was the main meeting spot after every club, pub, and disco in the town if you didn't make a pit stop there before venturing home sure what kind of night have you even had?
7. Heading up to Charleville Castle for the day to play in the grotto and on the King's Tree , the oldest oak tree in Ireland according to Tullamore legend.
8. When Offaly won the hurling All Ireland in 1994 and 98 and it was acceptable to sit on the roof of every house in Tullamore and hang out of windows to get the best view of the lads coming home.
9. Walking down the High Street listening to "Spoons" play the spoons near the canal.
10. Any sign of a wart and you were straight down to Daly's shop to see the seventh son of a seventh son.
11. If you were tired of the outdoor pool Lilliput was the place to be - who needs a beach when you have a lake, some bulrushes and an ice-cream van?
12. Inviting the rest of the country to climb the King's Tree, eat some Tullamore sausages and enjoy some music at Castlepalooza.
13. And of course last but not least Tullamore Dew!
"Sure my uncle owns that!"
