Coronation Street star Sue Nicholls has celebrated her 80th birthday today, November 23.
The long time cast member first joined the show in April 1979, and has remained an integral part of the show ever since.
In a post made on the Coronation Street social media pages, fans can take a look back on some of the stars soap moments from over the years.

The caption of the post read: "Happy 80th Birthday to the wonderful Sue Nicholls! Lots of love from everyone at Coronation Street."
Sue has played Audrey in Coronation Street as an occasional visitor since April 1979, and a full-time permanent character since 1985.
Across her almost four and a half decade long career with Coronation Street, Sue has won the love and affection of the shows viewers, with many naming her role in the show 'iconic'.
Taking to X, fans shared their birthday wishes for the star.
One fan wrote: "Happy 80th birthday to Sue Nicholls who plays the legendary Audrey Roberts on coronation street."
Another posted on X: "Whilst everyone celebrates Doctor Who’s 60th today, I’ll be celebrating Sue Nicholls’ 80th. Long may Audrey remain in Corrie!"
A third fan wrote: "Happy 80th birthday to the superb (The Honourable) Sue Nicholls."
As well as her well-renowned role as Audrey on Coronation Street, the actress also starred in other roles in the shows Crossroads from 1964–1968, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin from 1976–1979, and Rentaghost from 1981–1984.
Overall, the star has graced screen with her talent for almost 60 years.
The star was married to Mark Eden from 1993 until his death in 2021; Eden appeared as Alan Bradley on Coronation Street from 1986 until 1989.
Sue was born on 23 November 1943 in Darlaston, West Midlands, England.
