There are six social welfare bonus payments lined up for people to receive before the Christmas Bonus.
The final cost of living boost is expected to be paid to thousands on the week starting 4 December.
However, this will likely not be the first payment in the coming weeks that recipients will get.

Here are the series of cost of living cash bonuses to be paid later this month:
Once-off payment of €300 to people getting Fuel Allowance in the week beginning 20 November 2023
Once-off payment of €400 to people getting the Working Family Payment in the week beginning 20 November 2023
Once-off payment of €100 to people who get an increase for a qualified child - you will get one payment per qualified child in the week beginning 27 November 2023
Once-off payment of €200 to people getting the Living Alone Increase in the week beginning 27 November 2023
Once-off payment of €400 to people getting Disability Allowance, Invalidity Pension and Blind Pension in the week beginning 20 November 2023
Once-off payment of €400 to people getting the Carer’s Support Grant or Domiciliary Care Allowance in the week beginning 27 November 2023
The Christmas Bonus will follow these and is worth 100% of your normal weekly payment.
A Christmas Bonus is paid to people getting long-term social welfare payments. You are paid a Christmas Bonus if you are getting:
Back to Education Allowance - people coming from jobseeker's payments need to be getting the Allowance for at least 12 months (312 days), but you may be able to use your time on your jobseeker’s payment to help you qualify.
Back to Work Enterprise Allowance - people coming from jobseeker's payments need to be getting the Allowance for at least 12 months (312 days), but you may be able to use time on jobseeker’s payment to help you qualify.

The Living Alone Increase, the Island Allowance and the Over-80 Increase are also included in 2023.
If an Increase for a Qualified Adult is paid directly to your dependent spouse, civil partner or cohabitant, the Christmas Bonus is also paid directly to them.
For Domiciliary Care Allowance, which is paid monthly, the bonus is 100% of the weekly DCA rate. It is calculated independently of other payments.
