Daithi O Se has started the official countdown to the Rose of Tralee International Festival in Kerry as he posed with five of the stunning Roses.
The presenter took over from Ray D'Arcy back in 2010 as host of the famous festival, even marrying the 2008 New Jersey Rose in 2012.
The Kerry native showed his funny side in a post on RTE's Instagram with the Roses from Mayo, Longford, Kilkenny, Wexford and Meath.
The Roses all visited the RTE studios in Dublin for a lunch with the 43 year old host.

He joked: "We're almost nine weeks from the Rose of Tralee and we've only five Roses this year so it's going to be a very short show.
"Actually we have to fill three hours on the Monday and three hours on the Tuesday with only five Roses.
"No problem, we'll see you then. Bye-bye!"
The festival celebrates Irish communities all over the world, with Daithí being the 11th host, and first Kerryman to present.
It's every Irish girls' dream to be the Rose of Tralee, and it could still be a reality for some girls.
However, to enter the competition, you need to be no older that 29 and no younger than 18, unmarried, and obviously of Irish origin.
If you have already entered at a regional or international level, you can't enter again.
For the lucky Rose who wins , she gets a Tipperary Crystal iconic tiara, a brand new motor from KIA, other prizes worth €25,000 and a week long trip around the Kingdom of Kerry.
Looks like we'll be entering next year!
