Speaking with RSVP Live, Karen said: "Obviously it's not nice to see anybody leave a show that, I suppose, everyone grows so close to each other on, but it's a means to an end.
"It's a show that is always going to keep evolving, and bringing in new faces and new stories. Everyone that has left the show has a career path that the show has given them."
Karen shared that whilst it is sad to see them go, she knows that they departing talent have a platform from the show that will continue to stand to them- whether they decide to continue dancing or to take a different path.
The pro dancer said she is mainly exciting for the new energy fresh faces will bring: "It's sad to see anyone go, but it's also exciting to see new people join, and get new energy back in the room with people that are eager to see what the show is all about.
Speaking about the next season of Dancing With The Stars, Karen shared that everything is going to plan so far: "Everything is going great at the moment, the pro dancers so far are really good, so I think everybody is going to have a great season.
"Rehearsals so far [for the next season] are absolutely amazing, it's so good to have so many new professionals on the show, I think it kind of brings a new freshness to the show, and everyone is gelling really well which is obviously amazing."
Karen shared her enthusiasm to help her celebrity partner flourish on the show, noting that the audience loves to watch a person that can progressively improve through their own efforts.
The dancer said: "No matter who you get, whether they can dance or they can't, it doesn't necessarily mean if you get the best dancer that you have a better shot of winning.
"I think people, the Irish in general, like somebody progressing from week one all the way up. I always like to have somebody who starts with not a lot of dancing experience but people at home see them working hard and progressing every week, and have a bit of a story behind them."
