A newly married couple stopped to pose with Gardai in Dublin City Centre shortly after making their vows.
The couple, Clyde and Mags, got married on Friday, and took the opportunity to pose with the on duty Gardai as they petrolled the City Centre that evening.
Even the bridal party joined in, as bridesmaids posed wearing Garda hats and holding torches.

No offence was taken, as the Gardai posted the pictures on their X (formerly Twitter) account.
Posting the pictures on Monday, Garda Info said:
“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Clyde and Mags tied the knot on Friday in the town that they know and love.”
“We know you’ll join us in wishing them the very best for their life together.”
Well-wishers took to the comments of this post to wish the happy couple the best for their life together.
“Love it! Congratulations & best wishes to the newlyweds.”, “These are fantastic photos, congratulations to you both Clyde & Mags. Wishing you both many years of happiness together.”, and “Aww lovely news. All the best to the happy couple.”
The post has been a welcome break from the violence and destruction of the riots that occurred just a day prior.
Riots broke out in Dublin City Centre last Thursday, November 23rd, as a result of a stabbing incident outside a school in Parnell Square, in which three children and a care assistant were injured.
Members of the public shared their gratitude for the Gardai after the riots on Thursday, which included sending cards to Garda Stations across Dublin and showing their appreciation in person.
A young girl and her mother took to the streets of Dublin to give a flower to each Garda they saw, the Garda posted this on their X account:
“This special girl and her Mam came into the city yesterday with a bunch of flowers so that she could give a little purple flower to each one of us that she saw.
The Gardai also posted a picture of a wall filled with cards, thanking the Gardai for all their hard work.
“All the feels! These are some of the cards with well wishes that have been dropped into the station in Crumlin.”
X users also took to the Garda Info account’s comment section to leave well wishes and thank the Gardai for their work over the past few days.
“That is so lovely. You are so appreciated and try not forget that through these awful times. There’s humans and animals that need you to keep them safe”, “A beautiful & thoughtful gesture .. & thank you”, and “You deserve it. Lovely gesture.”
The Gardai took to X to thank the public for their recent kindness and support.
“Your kind words of support, and each one of you that have taken the time to stop and say hello to us in recent days have lifted our spirits and made us smile.”
