Emirates is hiring cabin crew in Ireland and the perks are phenomenal.
Living rent-free and paying no tax on your salary is something many people only dream of, but if you fancy a career change you can make this dream a reality.
Dubai-based airline Emirates already employs roughly 200 Irish cabin crew but is on the lookout for more and will host open recruitment says in Cork, Dublin and Galway over the coming weeks.

Not only is working as cabin crew a great way to travel and see more parts of the world, there are plenty of tempting benefits for Emirates applicants.
Successful candidates will earn approximately €2,635, tax-free, a month. They will also be given their own apartment in Dubai and won't have to pay rent - which is very appealing as Ireland continues to struggle with a cost of living crisis.
Applicants for Emirates cabin crew should:
- Be aged 21 or over
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- Be at least 160cm tall and able to reach 212cm high (into overhead bins)
- Be able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements
- Have at least one year’s experience in hospitality or customer service
- Have no visible tattoos while in uniform
- Be “a natural team player with a personality that shines”
New employees will start their cabin crew careers with eight weeks of training in Dubai, learning about everything from customer service to safety procedures, as well as emergency medical training for situations such as CPR and emergency childbirth.
They will also have to prove their swimming ability during training, in the event of an emergency landing on water.
Cabin crew get 30 calendar days' leave a year and complimentary annual leave flight tickets.
Employees can also enjoy discounted tickets not only for themselves but for their family and friends.
Recruitment days are walk-in and you don't need to pre-register. However, it is asked that applicants follow a business attire dress code, with male applicants being clean shaven and women wearing full make-up and heels.
It also asked that applicants familiarise themselves with the role requirements before attending.

- November 27: The Hilton, Charlemont Place, Dublin
- November 29: The Maldron Sandy Road, Galway
- November 16: Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin
- December 18: The Maldron Sandy Road, Galway
- December 20: The Metropole Hotel, Cork
