Speaking to RSVP Live, Becca revealed her transformative journey in the realm of women's health.

Eager to expand her expertise, she pursued a health promotion degree at Maastricht University between 2014 and 2015, "Starting my own business wasn't initially on my radar, so I continued teaching. However, in 2020, everything changed. I felt compelled to establish my own venture focused on hormone balance for women."

She continued: "In September 2020, I became a mother to twins, while simultaneously navigating a separation from their father and relocating from the UK back to Ireland. It was an incredibly stressful time, resulting in disrupted sleep due to high anxiety levels."

Becca embarked on a journey of self-discovery and found an approach that marked a turning point in her life "Over the next two years, I discovered an approach that significantly helped me achieve hormone balance for the first time in my life. Knowing the transformative impact it had on me, I felt a deep responsibility to share this knowledge with other women."

Racking up 514k followers on Instagram, Becca said: "In September 2022, I began sharing my journey on social media, and to my great fortune, my business 'Health with Holland' took off."

Can hormone-balancing strategies aid in permanent weight loss?

Becca said "If your hormones are imbalanced you will experience so many symptoms possibly including fatigue, sugar cravings, low energy, an irregular cycle, debilitating menopause symptoms, and anxiety."

She added "Depending on the hormones that are imbalanced, you will experience other symptoms but they are common for women to experience. "

"It is not an ideal state to approach weight loss. That is why so many women lose and regain weight."

What is the best way to balance your hormones during menopause?

Stress management plays a pivotal role in navigating the menopausal years.

Subjectively speaking, addressing stress is of utmost importance. Becca says: "This is highly subjective, firstly addressing stress is very important. If you enter your menopausal years physically and mentally stressed, you will notice every symptom of menopause is magnified."

"It is so important to weave some stress management into your days even if that is just some deep breathing, a five minute sit down with a cup of tea, going to bed earlier, or having a nice morning routine. The little things go a long way to help your body feel relaxed and safe" she added.

Can balancing your hormones help with stress and sleep management?

Imbalanced levels of estrogen and progesterone can impact your ability to manage stress effectively. Becca says: "When estrogen and progesterone are imbalanced, your ability to manage stress will be affected. You will notice as you transition to perimenopause, women often experience anxiety. This is often connected to the drop in progesterone and estrogen."

She continued: "Feeling tired all the time may be due to a diet that is not giving your body the nutrients it needs, poor sleep, a lot of stress or many other reasons. If you have fatigue it is a good idea to go to your local GP and tell them your symptoms so they can do the relevant tests."

Depending on the specific symptoms you are experiencing, it is first best to go to your doctor to do the relevant tests they see fit.
