Pete Ferguson informed his son Doug that his marriage to his wife Dolores Molloy is over on Fair City last night.
After Renee Phelan and Dolores clashed in McCoys, Dolores’ attempts to reconcile with Pete were met with contempt.
Pete, played by Enda Oates, felt isolated when Renee and Bob iced him out.

Renee and Dolores get into a slanging match on Tuesday night, and Renee vows to make her pay.
Dolores, played by Martina Stanley, acts aloof when Renee threatens her with legal action from the consortium. She defiantly rejects her offer that she can rejoin the consortium if she sells her share in McCoy’s.
Renee is taken aback when Mairead tells her the truth about Pete and Dolores.
Dolores puts up a front when Doug expresses his concern for her, but she privately breaks down.
Elsewhere in Carrigstown, a competitive Mondo and Victor look forward to a day of selling at the car boot sale. But realising that Mondo is outselling him, Victor forces him to pay a pitch fee.
When they turn a profit, the pair decide to take a break from selling and leave Ruby in charge.
Babs sees the car boot as a clamping jackpot, landing Victor in hot water with his fellow vendors. An off-duty Ronan turns a blind eye to Victor’s shenanigans.
Orla Molloy is confused when her card is declined at Phelan's shop. She decides to confront Paul Brennan and she reveals that he has used her wages to cover Dean’s fee.
Damien urges Orla to fight back against Paul. However, she quits Vinos, unaware that she has played right into Paul’s hands.
Damien and Mairead come clean to Renee about their racy workplace antics and they take opposing sides when they learn about Pete and Dolores’ breakup.
Bosco inspires Mairead and Damien to spice up their love life further.
