Ariana said: “Europe is so dog-friendly.
“After coming back, Ireland is one of the least dog-friendly places I’ve ever been."
The glob-trotting pair enjoyed a life of luxury as they made their way across Europe, with Ariana sharing that Molly was welcomed in anywhere she was.
Speaking to Moncrieff on Newstalk, Ariana said: “Everywhere I went, she was welcome; I used to get my hair done and my nails done and she’d sit on my lap.
“She was allowed in all the shops; in Italy, they have special shopping trolleys with little pictures of dogs on them that you can pop your dog into.”
Ariana explained her biggest fear when setting off on her travels was driving in a different country.
She said: “The thing that I worried the most about before leaving was driving and it turned out to actually be one of the most enjoyable parts of the experience."
She continued: "Paris was my first stop, I lived their for a month.
"I managed to conquer the Arch De Triomphe roundabout in the time I was there."
After that Ariana had overcome her fears, and was ready to take on the adventure ahead.
The dog-lover and her pooch were never lonely along the way, as they made friends wherever they went.
Ariana said: “Everywhere I went, I met people and I made friends. I would go and do walking tours, food tours, bike tours.
“There’s a lot of expat community Facebook groups, so I would have joined them or go to a local quiz night.”
Speaking about her dogs experience abroad she said: "She was on every single public transport, she was kayaking with me in Lake Como - a dog is a great ice breaker.
"The amount of people that I talked to and even became friends with through Molly was fantastic."
