The legendary Tony Christie opened the Late Late Show tonight with his most iconic tune, Is This The Way to Amarillo?.
He sat down with host Patrick Kielty to chat about his career and his Irish connections after his musical number.
While some praised 80 year old Tony for singing live, others weren't so impressed with his vocals.

"It's going to be a good night I feel. What a start," praised one viewer.
Another disagreed: "Someone give Tony a cough drop there. Poor lad is struggling."
"Tony Christie, 80 years old, it might not have been his best performance, but he's singing live which is more than many professional singers so these days," wrote another.
Another said: "Great feel-good start to the show. Like being at a wedding."
"Don't want to be too mean as he is 80 years old but poor Tony Christie can't sing in tune anymore," wrote another.
Tony also opened up about being diagnosed with dementia.
"I've been a crossword fanatic all my life," he told Patrick. "Suddenly I started to have problems and I thought, something's not right.
"They [the doctor] did an x-ray and a questionnaire kind of thing. She said, that's it, you've got the beginnings of dementia. They put me on these very strong tablets, it's not cured it, [but] it's kept it down.
"The doctors say that actually, you're very lucky, because music is one of the things that, anybody with dementia, it's good for them. It hold it back."
"Fair dues to Tony Christie. 80 and recently diagnosed with dementia. Still good!" praised one viewer.
Another wrote: "Fair play to Tony Christie. And music is definitely so therapeutic for dementia. Keeping active and stimulated will stand him in good stead."
