A number of Lotto players will see their winnings boosted across two separate draws this week, The National Lottery has announced.

This week, the 9pm Daily Million draws on Wednesday and Saturday are set to see players enjoy even bigger prizes than usual across all prize categories in the main draws.

The National Lottery has confirmed that a guaranteed to be won amount of €10,000 will be added to the prize funds for the 9pm draws on Wednesday (15 November) and Friday (18 November) which will increase the value of each of the prizes won.

Daily Million draws take place twice a day, seven days a week at 2pm and 9pm and costs just €1 per play and has a top prize of €1 million. Draws take place twice a day, every day at 2pm and 9pm precisely, and the results can be viewed on The National Lottery results page an hour after each draw. Sales reopen 10 minutes after each draw has finished.

The prize boost to the Daily Millions draws comes just days after an online player from Cook took the title of 36th National Lottery millionaire of 2023 after winning the top prize of €1 million in last Thursday’s (9 November) 9pm draw.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Daily Million players are set to enjoy bigger windfalls across not one, but two draws this week.

"For the 9pm draws on Wednesday 15th November and Saturday 18th November, we will be adding an additional €10,000 to the prize funds for each draw.

"This €10,000 promises players to see an extra boost in their winnings as the amount will be shared amongst all winners on both Wednesday and Saturday evening.

"Almost two months ago, we ran the same promotion on 21st September and in that Thursday night draw, 1,089 winners received an extra €10 amount.

"Players hoping to be in with a chance of winning bigger than usual in Wednesday night’s draw, tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at ww.lottery.ie until draw close at 9pm.”

The prize boost comes after almost 90 Lotto players saw their winnings boosted this weekend in a special Lotto Plus Raffle draw.

Saturday night’s Lotto draw marked the fourth Lotto Plus Raffle promotion of the year which saw 87 players get a massive boost to their winnings as the National Lottery topped up the Lotto Plus Raffle with an additional €1 million.

The Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees around 60-120 winners of €500 in every draw. On Saturday night, there were 87 Raffle winners which meant the boosted prize fund divided out to a prize of €11,995 for each Raffle winner. The winning Lotto Plus Raffle number was: 3434.
