While holidays abroad can be amazing, and it's fantastic to explore the globe, many of us forget how much there is to explore in our own country.
In this month's issue of RSVP Magazine, celebrities have opened up about some of their favourite staycation locations ahead of the summer.
Singer Mary Byrne has said that while she's been on some great trips abroad, there is really no place like home.

She says the biggest differences she has noticed between holidays abroad and holidays in Ireland are the people - and the food!
"There’s nothing like the food in Ireland," said Mary. "After being in the UK for the Menopause the Musical 2: Cruising Through Menopause, the food just doesn’t taste like our Irish food.
"Wherever I’ve been in these places, Cork, Donegal and Galway, the pubs are all fantastic and the food is brilliant, and the people are great. When you’re flying home to Ireland from anywhere, you just get that warm feeling. Ireland is also beautiful, it’s just so green."
She shared some of her favourite locations and why they mean so much to her.
"When I was a kid, Wicklow was where we used to go and we used to stay in a cottage called Oakwood," she said. "It was just beautiful. But since then, I’ve been to Cork which I think is a fantastic county.
"Donegal is also beautiful, it’s so rugged at times it’s like being on the moon. There’s a lot of discovery to be done in our own country - the only problem is that it can be very expensive and the weather isn’t always great. But it’s a beautiful country, I love going around the country and meeting people from different places."
"I’m currently touring with the musical and one of my favourite parts is meeting people from all over. Cork and Donegal are definitely the top places I would go to regularly on a staycation, as I have friends in both places. I also like the wildness of them and I would try to get there at least once a year."
She has been touring in the UK with the cast of 'Menopause the Musical 2: Cruising Through Menopause', which is in Ireland from today.
The Irish leg of the tour kicks off from the 10th of May, and for more information you can check out menopauseireland.com.
