Patrick debut has broken records as the most-watched live programme of the year, as well as breaking the record for viewers on the RTÉ Player with those watching in Ireland and around the world.
The show featured some heartwarming and hilarious moments from this year's toy testers, with some unforgettable moments from kids such as County Clare’s Sheamie, sport loving Stevie from Kilkenny, and Tipperary’s Sophie.
Sheamie stole viewers hearts with his quirky personality as he let Patrick in on the secret that it was 'both our first Toy Show'.
Stevie belted out Ireland's Call with all his might, and whilst that took viewers breath away, Stevie's breath was only taken away when he noticed his idols standing behind him at the end of her performance.
As Sophie rushed to the studio for her surprise toy testing demo, viewers watched in anticipation to see whether or not her bus would make it before the end of the show.
The Toy Show appeal saw over €3.6 million donated by viewers to help children's charities across Ireland in the year ahead, bringing the total donations since 2020 to over €21 million.
Host Patrick Kielty said: “I’m still coming back down to earth from an amazing night last Friday. I want to express huge thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Late Late Toy Show so special.
"To all of you who watched, to the brilliant kids who brought their magic and put a giant smile on all of our faces. And, to every last one of you who gave so generously to our Toy Show Appeal – you have made a massive difference to so many children’s lives – thank you! Being part of it is something I will never forget – a forever night!”
