Ciaran Keating, a brother of singer Ronan Keating has been named locally as the victim of a fatal road crash in County Mayo, according to The Irish Examiner.
The incident occurred near Swinford on Saturday.
Ciaran, father of Cork City footballer Ruairí, is reported to have suffered fatal injuries in the two-vehicle impact.

According to Independent.ie, Mr Keating, aged in his 50s, was travelling with his wife Ann Marie when the collision with another vehicle occurred at around 3.35pm.
Ann Marie was taken to Mayo University Hospital, where it is understood she is being treated for non life threatening injuries.
The family relocated from Dublin to Mayo around 15 years ago.
Cork City FC, who Ruairí plays for, released a statement following the news of Mr Keating's passing:
"All at Cork City FC are deeply saddened at the passing of Ciaran Keating, father of our player Ruairí Keating."
"We extend our deepest sympathies to Ruairí and the entire Keating family at this exceptionally difficult time."
"May he rest in peace. We ask that the family’s privacy be respected at this difficult time. Funeral arrangements will be confirmed in due course."
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
