Royal watchers noticed that Prince Louis mysteriously disappeared from his grandfather King Charles III’ coronation over the weekend.
He was seen arriving with his parents, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, and his older sister Princess Charlotte.
His brother, Prince George, had a very important and official role on the day as he was tasked with being King Charles’ Page of Honour.
George was seen walking behind his grandfather and holding his ceremonial robes as he entered Westminster Abbey.
However, it was the youngest sibling that caught a lot of attention when he was originally seen sitting beside his parents and sister.
It was at one point during the two-hour coronation ceremony that Louis seemingly went missing.
Thankfully, there was an actual reason he wasn’t sitting with everyone throughout the event - and it was due to his age.
He recently turned five years old, and was “retired” to a quieter part of Westminster Abbey. This was part of the plan for the day, with him seen fidgeting and yawning at certain points.
Prince Louis later re-joined his family to recite the country’s national anthem and to walk out with his parents and siblings.
He also sat with them in the carriages for the journey back to Buckingham Palace to wave from the balcony.
Prince Louis has been appearing at more and more official events as he grows up, with many sharing how adorable he looked in his coronation outfit matching his family.
He wore an outfit made by Dege and Skinner which included a Hainsworth Garter Blue Doeskin Tunic with specially designed lace work embellishment to the collar, cuffs and fronts.
The leg garment is black complete with Garter Blue stripe which tied into the colours of William and Kate’s capes.
