Loughrea Hotel and Spa in Galway. Sally our wedding coordinator couldn’t do enough for us, and her team at the hotel are outstanding. The service and food were exceptional, we couldn’t have asked for better!

HIGHLIGHTS

I loved the excitement in the morning and getting into my wedding dress was so special. And I couldn’t wait to get to the top of the altar to see Stephen’s expression!

My ‘something old’ was a picture of my late grandad which my bridesmaids put in a locket for me to attach to my bouquet - a lovely touch. My ‘something new’ was my wedding shoes, my ‘something borrowed’ was a hair pin, and my ‘something blue’ was a garter - which I actually forgot to wear.

THE PROPOSAL

Stephen proposed at home the night before my birthday. He always joked that he never wanted to get married so it was all a big shock for me but I obviously said yes - after a few minutes of leaving him hanging.
