See inside designer Natasha Rocca Devine's latest home renovation in Portlaoise
“The interiors are stylish with strong navy and accent colours and wallpaper to ensure a statement is created, yet, a neutral and serene style permeates the space.” She explains.
Designer Natasha Rocca Devine was tasked with taking a modern home and giving it a sense of tradition in a home that launched a brand new phase of houses in ‘Foxburrow’, Portlaoise’s most prestigious new homes development.
“The aim was to ensure a sense of luxury yet, also create a place to relax, re-connect and entertain. Along with areas for mobile working or study to ensure these homes can be purposeful all year-round.”
Speaking about her favourite room to work on in the house, she says
"My favourite room to work on was the living room as I included beautiful paint, wallpaper, curtains, couches *Harvey Norman, art, a TV etc. While the key piece for me was a library wall shelves I created by combining three shelves (JYSK).
I think it’s so important to switch off and I adore reading and also styling shelves. So, having a library / accessories wall is such a beautiful feature. Each home and commercial space should allow for shelves to place books, photos, plants and keepsakes for the family or those living or working there, in whatever capacity the space allows."
