THE CEREMONY

We eloped in Las Vegas. We knew we wanted to get married in a small chapel off the main strip and wanted to go with a smaller venue that had a vintage feel to it. Sure Thing Chapel was just what we were looking for.

THE OUTFIT

I wore a jumpsuit. I knew early on that I wanted to wear trousers of some kind. After looking at some bridal shops I made the decision to get my outfit online and for under €500 which I did.

I wanted to have some sort of train too so altered a skirt to make it a train. The outfit was simple but felt totally appropriate for an elopement. The main pieces of my outfit I got online from Coast, House of CB and Etsy.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

The whole day was so surreal but exactly what we wanted so it’s hard to pick just a few highlights. However we loved getting ready together and had so much fun running around downtown Las Vegas in the desert heat with our photographer.

THE HONEYMOON

Yes, we stayed on in the USA for 3 weeks and did a road trip along the California coast, we then went onto Mexico for two weeks where we visited Mexico City and Cancun.

THE STRESS FACTOR

We planned the entire thing in four months with very little stress. Las Vegas is known for elopements so getting the information we needed, finding a venue, photographer etc. was easy.

We also didn’t have to worry about guests which made the planning much easier.

THE WORDS OF ADVICE

If any brides are considering an elopement do it! We are so happy with our decision and all of our friends and family were incredibly supportive, we wouldn’t change a thing
