Met Éireann have forecast some seriously frosty conditions over the next few days that are set to stick right up until the weekend.
Light dusting of snow was forecasted to hit Dublin around 11pm last night, as well as in the early hours of this morning.
While the snow may not be heavy, Met Éireann suggests that the icy conditions could be here to stay.

WXCharts have forecasted that the snow may be its heaviest in Dublin tonight, as the temperatures plummet.
The chances of snow look at its highest in the capital tomorrow as well, but will start to decline as we head into the weekend.
As we move down to the South East of the country, County Waterford looks unlikely to see any snowfall for the remainder of this week, the same can be said for Counties Wexford, Tipperary, and Carlow.
Limerick is set to see some snow action coming into the weekend, particularly on Sunday 3rd of December, while Kilkenny will also see some snow this evening, but that will dwindle as we move into Saturday morning.
Counties Galway and Cork are also among the places that are unlikely to see any snowfall for the rest of the week, while Kildare may see a very small wintery shower in the early hours of Friday morning.
Wicklow seems to be getting the highest chances of snow for the longest period of time, expecting to see showers tonight, tomorrow and Saturday.
It’s not uncommon for Wicklow to receive a prolonged forecast of snow, as hills and mountain regions tend to get the most snowfall within the country.
The Wicklow Mountains can average at 30 snowfall days per year, but sometimes see’s up to 50.
Met Éireann say that the wintry showers may start from tonight.
“Tonight will be very cold with a widespread sharp to severe frost and icy stretches. Dry and clear across most areas.
“However, some scattered showers will move into west Connacht and west Ulster, as well as along parts of the East Coast, a few of hail and sleet, with a dusting of snow possible over higher ground.”
Tomorrow morning is set to be freezing, as the light snow showers are likely to continue.
“On Friday morning, frost, ice, and any mist or fog will gradually clear. The first day of the meteorological winter will be very cold with well scattered wintry showers.”
The icy conditions will be present throughout Saturday, with temperatures peaking at just 6 degrees.
“Another cold day with frost, ice and a light dusting of snow locally to begin. Most areas will be dry for daylight hours, with any wintry showers mainly along north and west coasts. Highest temperatures of just 2 to 6 degrees in light west to southwest breezes.
“During Saturday evening and night, some scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle will move in off the Atlantic, possibly turning wintry in places. Lowest temperatures of -3 to +2 degrees.”
Met Éireann suggests that the freezing temperatures will start to pick up as we head into the new week.
