William Ross, Farid Langens, and Kevin Roos sprung to action on Monday when they noticed a car in the water at Kennedy Quay in Cork City.
The three heroic men jumped into the water to rescue the woman from the sinking car, in turn saving her life.
William realised he forgot to take his phone out of his pocket in the rush, but now a Go Fund Me page has been set up to replace the phone.
Belgian fishermen Farid and Kevin were unloading their catch for the day when they noticed a commotion, and then a car in the water at Kennedy Quay in Cork City.
They were then joined by electrician William when he noticed the pair struggling to get the woman out of the car.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville show on Red FM, Farid said: "We hooked the car so it couldn't float any further.
"I jumped in the water, I had the line, and my crew members secured the line on the ship so it couldn't float any further."
William said: "[Farid] jumped in straight away, no hesitation.
"He got a rope to the car, and we were able to pull it to the side of the trawler. Somebody had a hammer and I just leaned over the side while somebody grabbed me by the legs, and I just broke the back window."
William shared the woman inside the car wasn't able to come out of the back window, so he tried again to find a different way.
He said: "I just broke the side window, and we got her out that way. Basically the car just went straight down then."
Cork City Fire Brigade, the National Ambulance Service (NAS), the Coast Guard, Mallow Search and Rescue, and An Garda Síochána all attended the scene.
Speaking with Cork Beo, William's wife said: "My husband came home in boxers and a hazmat suit; had a hot shower, paid €250 to replace his sodden phone and went straight back to work."
The Neil Prendeville show spoke to William on Tuesday morning, 28 November, and felt compelled to raise the money for William to replace the phone he lost while heroically saving the drowning woman.
On the fundraiser page, it is noted that any extra funds would be shared with the two other heroes, Farid and Kevin, crewmen on separate Belgian-flagged trawlers, who also jumped in to save the woman.
The fundraiser is just over halfway to it's goal with €510 raised out of €1,000.
