Holidaymakers have been warned of severe weather conditions sweeping popular hotspots in Spain, Italy and France this week.
Over the weekend, a mass of footage of winds and rainfall hitting the Balearic Islands in Spain, an area frequented by Irish tourists, circulated on social media.
Videos shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, saw sun loungers flying through the air at holiday complexes in Mallorca as heavy rain and severely strong winds ripped through the area.

A separate incident saw passengers get injured when a P&O cruise ship collided with another vessel at Mallorca.
The severe weather has been named Storm Rea by the Italian Met Service and will hit parts of Europe today.
Locals and tourists alike are urged to stay safe during the brutal conditions.
The UK Met Office tweeted: "Some very strong Mistral winds are likely across parts of France and Italy in association with a deep low, which the Italian Met Service have named Storm #Rea. Ahead of this, severe thunderstorms will affect parts of southern and eastern Europe."
The weather agency added: "Severe thunderstorms are affecting the Balearic Islands, leading to heavy rain and strong gusty winds."
The 112 emergency service in the Balearics reported 84 storm-related incidents in Mallorca in the space of just one hour on Sunday, reports Yorkshire Live.
The storm hit with sudden and tremendous force around 11am in the morning.
By 12 noon, there were 84 incidents reported, including fallen trees, flooded basements among other issues.
Of these reported incidents, 49 were in Palma and 24 in Calvia. Both destinations are hugely popular with Irish holidaymakers during the summer season.
