But now we've come across a job that seems pretty tasty - a chocolate taster for Cadbury's.
The part-time position is advertised on the Mondelez International website and involves helping the company perfect and launch a brand new product.
The lucky candidate will work alongside about 11 other chocolate tasters and a panel leader, sharing opinions on the taste of the chocolate.
You don't need any experience as full training is provided to develop your taste buds and give you the vocabulary you'll need.
However you will need a passion for sweets, eagerness to try new products, a communicative personality and a good grasp of the English language.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being able to taste chocolate products and giving objective and honest feedback
- Working within a team of panelists to share opinions and collaborating to reach an agreement on taste
- Using a clearly defined vocabulary to describe products and aid in the discrimination between products
- Being consistent in the results given
- Knowing the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position; raising questions and concerns when faced with an ethical or compliance issue; applying integrity in all aspects of professional conduct
