Baz Ashmawy is a man of many talents.

He pushed his mother to the limits on the Emmy Award winning 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy and he fronted a popular radio show with Lucy Kennedy on RTÉ 2FM.

Now, the 46 year old Dublin man is back with a whole new venture called Wingman where is helps participants to embark on a journey of discovery to achieve something they wouldn’t have thought was possible

Fiancé Tanja Evans

Baz has been with his fiancé Tanya Evans since 2006.

The couple are engaged since 2015, but they have no big plans to tie the knot and make things official just yet.

He previously told RSVP Live: "I would love to elope and to be honest, I think that’s exactly how we will get married. We have a big family and they are quite excited about the wedding."

When quizzed about his nuptials in another interview, he joked: "No, leave me alone about the wedding."

"We are busy with kids at the moment and that is taking up most of our time."

Children

Baz is Dad to two daughters Hanna and Mahy.

The TV star is also stepfather to Charlotte, Harry, Jake and Amelia from Tanja's previous relationship.

50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy

Three series of 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy have been aired by Sky TV. It was one of their most watched TV shows, it is not surprising.

The novel programme follows Baz and his mum Nancy as they take on wild tasks like skydiving and visiting prisons.

" I’ve done TV for so long and you meet amazing people along the way. But sometimes a very ordinary person, like Nancy, who you think is just your average mum, can be totally different than you imagine. She’s someone who doesn’t particularly want to be on television and she’s never anything but herself.

"She’s got some metal, some balls. I’ve met a lot of people, men who work on trawler ships, guys who have worked in tribes for years in Ethiopia, and I’m telling you she’s one of the most amazing people. I’m not just saying that because she’s my mum, but she’s easily one of the most amazing people to be around.

"The whole crew are inspired by her. When she does something you can hear them yell and cheer for her," he previously told RSVP Magazine.

Age

Baz Ashmawy was born on April. 9 1975.

Where is he from?

Baz is originally from Libya but he grew up in Dublin. His sister currently lives in Cairo, Egypt.

Religion

Baz told RSVP Magazine: "I was brought up Muslim and my mother was Roman Catholic so I’m kind of delving back into Islam at the moment to try and understand it. I’ve a little girl and she’s going to come up to me very soon and start asking me why her aunty wears a hijab and what a Muslim is and I’m quite ignorant to it all. I’m doing this to learn everything I need to know to educate my kids because it’s part of them as much as it’s part of me. Anyone I have ever met in my life that was Muslim was really sweet and kind, not what you see on propaganda news at the moment. I’m spiritually lost at the moment, I’m on my own journey to try and find out what’s going to make me a better person."
